Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coach, and mentor managers and operational staff to build a high-performing, accountable team.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, goals, KPIs, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and problem-solving.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, quality issues, and opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and apply continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Utilize data and operational metrics to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Improve manufacturing processes, workflows, capacity, quality, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, resource allocation, and employee development.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets while maintaining appropriate cost controls.
  • Ensure production and operational activities meet established quality, delivery, safety, and customer requirements.
  • Lead organizational and process changes while effectively communicating expectations and objectives to employees.
  • Establish standardized processes and operating procedures to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where employees are encouraged to identify problems, suggest improvements, and take ownership of results.
  • Support the organization’s growth by developing scalable processes, systems, and teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive operations/manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within electronics, electrical, high-tech, or related manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a manufacturing or operational environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).
  • Demonstrated success implementing continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, root-cause analysis, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience establishing and managing KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and productivity improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and implement new processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP or other manufacturing management systems.
