Job Description

As Director of Building Automation, you will define and govern automation strategy for OCIโ€™s global data center portfolio. This role sets standards and direction for BMS, controls architecture, cybersecurity, and analytics that underpin safe and efficient operations at scale. This role oversees the execution of organizational strategy around evaluating scoped sites against Oracleโ€™s requirements for data centers. Ensures implementation organizational collaboration strategy with multidisciplinary internal and external teams to design the power, cooling, and air flow designs for the data center infrastructure. Supervises the execution of organizational processes around failure analyses and responses to emergencies. Manages the implementation of assessment processes for data center infrastructure and for the evaluation of plans provided by the Build and Engineering Services (BES) team. Ensures the implementation of organizational strategy around determining cooling requirements and architectural tradeoffs to ensure the white space design meets their requirements to manage variables such as heat, humidity, and air flow. Influences organizational research goals around innovative new data center designs, materials, and/or methods.

  • Manage vendors and develop technical talent; champion continuous improvement.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
