Job description

Scope Of work: Break-fix: 1. Visually inspecting devices to assess equipment status 2. Providing loop-back cables in order to test circuits remotely 3. Re-seating or replacing components or cables 4. Removing Alternating Current ("AC") or Direct Current ("DC") power from equipment 5. Cleaning equipment or connectors 6. Connecting a provided test set or test router to equipment 7. Swapping removable storage media 8. Installing or replace modular equipment components 9. Dispatching equipment for repair 10. Cleaning fibers 11. Installing loop backs 12. Providing planned maintenance or circuit migration support 13. Installing Small Form Factor Pluggable (each an "SFP") or Gigabit Interface Converters (each a "GBIC") 14. Troubleshooting hardware problems on any device 15. Racking and de-racking of any device installed 16. Labelling/inventory equipment plus digital picture and serial number recording 17. Tape backup: cassette exchange and storage in strongbox Provisioning: 1. Install cables or optics for new circuits 2. Re-connect / disconnect / replace existing circuits 3. Testing of cables and optics Deployment: 1. Cable Management 2. Northbound Cabling (Fiber/Copper/Power) 3. Rack/Stack/Jack 4. Installation Support (PDU, Network Switches, etc.) 5. E-Waste and other clean-up activities
