You will shape the technical direction and architecture for an enterprise-grade AI platform, driving scalable, secure AI services used by product and engineering stakeholders. You’ll report to the Director of Platform Services and work fully Remote as part of a Platform Services sub-team, partnering closely with application engineering, cloud infrastructure, applied AI, and product.

  • Lead build-vs-buy evaluations, due diligence, and integration planning for AI components.
  • Design and implement foundational data pipelines and infrastructure to support reliable, scalable AI services with security and compliance in mind.
  • Contribute hands-on backend development in Python and RESTful API design; participate in full-stack delivery using React/TypeScript when needed.
  • Build and maintain tooling, SDKs, platform APIs, and evaluation frameworks to enable reproducible model testing and safe AI adoption by product teams.
  • Establish observability and performance tracking for AI services and apply secure-by-default principles (encryption, least privilege, audit logging).
