Job description

Job Description
We welcome all those who have big ideas, crave innovation, and want to develop, build and work on the world's most advanced electromagnetic spectrum operations systems - detecting, locating and countering threats for joint and international aircrew. We develop highly sophisticated digital Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and we are looking for motivated and positive minded engineers highly skilled in Electronic Attack to join cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams. We put our customers first - exemplified by our mission: "We Protect Those Who Protect Us®." Come build your career with us.
We are seeking a Principal Modeling & Simulation Engineer to take a leading role in advancing our digital engineering capability for Electronic Warfare systems. In this role, you will be creating the technical linkage between synthetic RF signal and data generation (e.g. AFSIM) and the EW transceiver model - including the development and maintenance of the transceiver model itself. You will work at the intersection of RF systems engineering, performance modeling, and simulation infrastructure, helping to ensure that synthetic environments faithfully exercise the full signal chain from generated threat and environment inputs through to transceiver response. This is a senior technical role with deep impact on the fidelity and utility of our simulation framework.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, systems engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in MATLAB for algorithm development, signal processing, and data analysis
  • Experience with C++ for performance-critical simulation software
  • Experience developing performance models of RF or EW systems or subsystems
  • Familiarity with RF system concepts including signal generation, receiver processing, and subsystem performance characterization

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with RF signal generation tools such as CEESIM or equivalent threat simulation equipment
  • Background in closed-loop simulation integrating flight software, scenario models, and hardware interface emulators
  • Experience with EW transceiver architectures - receiver chains, signal detection, frequency management, or related functions
  • Familiarity with synthetic data generation techniques for RF and EW environments
  • Experience with test procedure development and lab integration support
  • Applied mathematics background supporting analytical and signal processing modeling work
