  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure product feasibility.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Manage transition from prototype to production through structured NPI processes.
  • Oversee pilot builds, design for manufacturability (DFM) activities, and process validation.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth production ramp-up.
  • Support cost modeling, BOM development, and supplier qualification efforts.

Stage Gate / Product Lifecycle Management

  • Guide projects through formal Stage Gate methodology, ensuring deliverables, risk assessments, and financial justifications are completed at each phase.
  • Prepare and present technical updates and gate review documentation to leadership.
  • Track KPIs related to timeline, cost, scope, and quality.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, bottlenecks, and cross-functional conflicts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Interface with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Operations to align technical objectives with business goals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance and manufacturability.
  • Provide technical leadership during design reviews and post-launch performance analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline preferred).
  • Experience in NPD/NPI within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Stage Gate or formal product lifecycle management processes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and production ramp methodologies.
