Camera Operator:

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL, is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and hardworking Camera Operator to join its creative team.


What You’ll Do

· Work directly with Weigel’s Director, Production and Creative Team to produce high quality videography while recording show related elements

· Assist and fill in for various roles on the Production Team during tapings including handheld camera, audio, floor direction and teleprompter

· Provide support for field shoots and daily production needs

· Communicate effectively across departments

· Perform additional duties, as assigned


What You’ll Bring

· 2–3 years of experience in broadcast, digital, or cable, in a video production-oriented role as a videographer

· Hands-on experience with Sony PTZ, ENG-style cameras, and Steadicam preferred

· Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities

· Proactive, reliable, and technically proficient

· Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

· Capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs
