Job description

Job Summary: Monitors overall operations of Environmental (Housekeeping) and Linen Services Departments. Develops and implements processes to improve infection control practices as they relate to Environmental and Linen Services. Establishes and monitors productivity standards and trains Environmental and Linen Services personnel to maintain highest established sanitary standards. Creates a clean, safe, attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Ensures adherence to the Corporate Compliance Policy. Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • BS/BA and a minimum of five years of managerial experience in an institutional setting, preferably in a hospital, required.
  •  Executive housekeeping certification preferred. 
  • Experience in linen distribution systems in hospital environment necessary.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
