Primary Goal: As the Mobile Engineer with GLOBO, you’ll help drive innovation at our fastest-growing entry point into our services, our mobile applications. You will play a strategic role in developing a product that is revolutionizing the delivery of language services and omnichannel communication while keeping you connected to the development work you love. Working with and reporting to our Director of Engineering, you’ll be responsible for the continued development of our growing portfolio of iOS and Android applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new features and improve upon existing features.
  • Diagnose and resolve bugs to ensure our clients and staff have the best error-free experience possible
  • Develop and Maintain Unit and Integration tests
  • Perform code reviews of our mobile applications
  • Investigate and document the impact of feature changes and account for any downstream technical issues
  • Manage technical debt, helping our product and engineering teams work on improving developer happiness and efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements:

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 3+ years in mobile development (iOS and/or Android)
  • Experience with the below tech stack
  • Swift/Objective-C (iOS)
  • Kotlin/Java (Android)
  • Familiarity with cross platform tech stack is a plus
  • React
  • Native
  • Flutter
  • Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs into apps
  • Distribution knowledge (App Store / Play Store), CI/CD for mobile
  • Fluency with mobile testing in the below
  • XC Test
  • ESpresso
  • Appium
  • An eye for designing and building exceptional interfaces and user experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
  • Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
