Job Summary:

We areseeking an exceptional Staff Engineer to provide technicalarchitecture and leadership within a team and acrossmultiple projects. The ideal candidate will havedeep expertise in Java and cloud-nativearchitecture, consistently lead development of production-ready complex systems, and influence technical direction across the team. Experience with web application development isrequired to support internal tooling needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Scienceor equivalent practical experience
  • 7-10 years of professional software developmentwith 2+ years in technical leadership
  • Deep expertise in Java (Java17+, Java 21preferred) and Spring Boot 3.x ecosystem
  • Expert knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong experience with observability, SRE practices, and operational excellence
  • Proventrack record leading complex technical initiatives across multipleprojects
  • Experiencewith containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD, and infrastructure ascode
  • Experience buildingweb applications and proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Willingness to learn and workwith frontend technologies asneeded forinternal tools
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and driveengineering standards
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence audiences at all levels
  • Track record ofmentoring engineers and elevating team capabilities
  • Strong product mindset with focuson delivering business value
  • Experience making high-impact technical decisionsunder ambiguity
  • Reactiveprogramming, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous systems

Annual Salary

$115,000.00 - $230,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
