We are on the lookout for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer/ Infection Control- Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
  • Assist in developing, implement and revise corporate, facility and Nursing Services policies and procedures within the guidelines of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the facility and taking into consideration the recommendations of the CEO, CMO, CNO and the Director of Clinical Services and the nursing staff.
  • Assist in reviewing the progress, quality and effectiveness of all nursing programs.
  • Assist in evaluating nursing care practices, formulate plans for new programs and
    changes to existing programs, and initiate and/or utilize studies and research applicable to the development of nursing services.
  • Ensure all Nursing Services programs maintain current departmental manuals.
  • Maintain an active involvement and awareness of all patient admissions, discharges and transfers.

  • Education: A graduate of an appropriately accredited school of nursing, is licensed by the State to practice as a Registered Nurse and demonstrates an understanding of the principles of epidemiology and infectious disease in the hospital.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse and experience with infection control preferred.
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations and all other state and federal regulatory standards

Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range is $ 93,000 - $110,000 annually + potential for quarterly and annual bonus.
