Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Develop and execute the U.S. indirect tax strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives and serve as the subject matter expert on indirect tax matters
  • Oversee preparation, review, and filing of all U.S. indirect tax returns (sales/use, property, excise, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; drive automation and efficiency within processes
  • Manage indirect tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting (ASC 740 where applicable) and maintain proper documentation / audit trails
  • Manage tax controversy matters and responses to state and local tax audits / inquiries; negotiate outcomes with tax authorities
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks across business operations
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, procurement, sales, IT) to ensure tax-efficient operations and proper documentation

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in indirect tax with Big 4 firm and/or large multinational
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. indirect tax rules and multi-state regulations
  • Strong understanding of tax accounting and financial reporting implications
  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical / problem-solving skills, excellent communication / stakeholder management abilities, strong leadership and team management skills
