Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Market Data Support Engineer to serve as the first point of contact for all production issues related to Market Data platforms within a fast-paced trading environment. The primary focus of this role is supporting Low Latency Market Data Platforms (LLP) including eXegy and Thomson Reuters TREP, along with implementation of Exchange Driven Changes (EDCs).

This is a front-office–facing role supporting trading desks and requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, low-latency infrastructure knowledge, and experience in financial market data systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st line and escalated production support for Market Data platforms

  • Support Low Latency Platforms (LLP), primarily eXegy and Reuters/TREP

  • Implement and support Exchange Driven Changes (EDCs)

  • Support market data display platforms including Bloomberg, LSEG (Refinitiv), FactSet

  • Monitor usage and entitlements using tools such as MMG, Harco

  • Troubleshoot market data flow issues, latency, and feed disruptions

  • Support trading desks and front office applications

  • Work closely with global infrastructure and application teams

  • Participate in shift rotations, including early/late shifts, on-call, and weekend coverage


Required Technical Skills
  • Strong experience in Market Data Application/Platform Support

  • Hands-on experience with Low Latency Platforms (LLP) such as eXegy

  • Knowledge of Market Data Distribution Technologies:

    • eXegy

    • Wombat / SR Labs

    • Reuters / TREP

    • Bloomberg Market Data Infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of direct and consolidated market data feeds

  • Experience with market data content from multiple providers

  • Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, Routing, Security

  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments

  • Experience supporting financial trading systems and exchange data flows

  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Shell

Desirable Skills
  • Advanced Python scripting

  • Experience with MAMA, RFA, and Bloomberg Market Data APIs

  • Experience in low-latency trading environments
