Job description

Job Responsibilities: • Reference and gain an understanding of department GIS Digitizing Standards. • Perform the workflow of retrieving relevant facility documentation and reviewing GIS digitizing for accuracy. • Utilize GIS digitizing standards, facility documentation, and the GIS environment to evaluate database accuracy and health. • Transpose complex data from records maps, CAD drawings, land base maps, demographic models and economic resources and other source documents into GIS related database • Assist and collaborate with team members to communicate issues or necessary feedback relevant to improving accuracy and problem identification. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, computer science or a related field is a plus. • 0-2 year's experience required. • Experience with GIS software such as ESRI, AutoDesk, Bentley, Integraph, etc • Strong understanding of geographic concepts • Experience with Microsoft Office.. • Proficiency in computer systems, applications, and database software.
