Location: Remote USA

Hiring for one Director role (Data Center Sales West)

Position Summary

The Director of Data Center Sales โ€“ West is responsible for expanding the company's data center solutions business across the Western United States, including colocation, connectivity, power, cloud, network infrastructure, and associated distribution products.

This role will drive strategic sales initiatives, accelerate revenue growth, develop key customer and partner relationships, and ensure the company's offerings remain competitive within the telecom, data center, and technology distribution markets.

The ideal candidate will have an established network across data center operators, hyperscalers, telecom carriers, cloud providers, distributors, integrators, and enterprise customers throughout the Western U.S.

Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English is required. Candidates who are trilingual in English, French, and Spanish are strongly preferred and will be prioritized for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for data center solutions and telecom distribution products across the Western United States.
  • Own revenue targets, forecasting, pipeline development, and business development initiatives for the West region.
  • Identify new markets, strategic accounts, emerging data center opportunities, and product expansion opportunities.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, telecom carriers, cloud providers, distributors, integrators, and enterprise clients.
  • Develop strategic relationships across key Western markets, including California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Texas, and other assigned territories.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data center technologies, infrastructure, connectivity, power, and distribution solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, operations, engineering, logistics, and marketing teams to develop and deliver customer solutions.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline and lead RFP/RFI responses from opportunity identification through contract execution.
  • Develop strategic account plans for key customers and partners.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies within the data center ecosystem.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, data center events, customer meetings, and partner events.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications โ€“ Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 8โ€“12+ years of sales experience within data center, telecom, technology, connectivity, or distribution industries.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams and exceeding multimillion-dollar revenue targets.
  • Established relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, telecom carriers, cloud providers, integrators, or enterprise technology customers.
  • Strong knowledge of the data center ecosystem, including connectivity, power, network infrastructure, cloud, colocation, and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing new markets and strategic accounts.
  • Strong executive-level communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned Western U.S. territory.

Qualifications โ€“ Preferred

  • Experience working with major carriers, hyperscalers, cloud providers, and global data center operators.
  • Existing customer and partner relationships across Western U.S. data center markets.
  • Familiarity with technology and telecom distribution channel models.
  • Experience selling infrastructure, connectivity, power, networking, or related data center solutions.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Professional fluency in English, French, and Spanish.
