As a AML Quantitative Analytics and Model Development Analyst Senior Machine Learning within PNC's AML organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cincinnati, OH or one of PNC"s Hub locations.
This role is ideal for a risk and compliance professional who combines deep curiosity about emerging AI and machine learning capabilities with practical experience applying advanced analytics in highly regulated environments. The successful candidate will provide oversight and challenge for AI-enabled solutions that support AML investigations, helping ensure they remain effective, well-governed, and aligned to business and regulatory expectations. Working closely with model owners, technology partners, investigators, and risk stakeholders, this individual will monitor industry developments, evaluate the potential impact of new techniques and tools, translate complex concepts into actionable business insights, and help shape the strategic direction of AI-enabled capabilities. We are seeking a thoughtful and influential professional who can bridge business, risk, and technology perspectives, exercise sound judgment, and serve as a trusted advisor on the evolving use of AI within financial crimes risk management.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.   • Independently performs advanced quantitative analyses and model development to drive decision-making by running quantitative strategies. Makes recommendations based on analyses.

  • Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with larger, more complex datasets to create models.

  • Performs quantitative analysis and develops complex reports. Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis. Makes recommendations based on findings from data analytics.

  • Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.

  • Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
