Job description

Job Summary:
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is a leading global cruise company known for its innovative product offerings and exceptional guest experiences. The Product Lead will own the backlog for assigned delivery pods, facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, and manage the execution of enhancements and maintenance items while ensuring alignment with enterprise programs.
Responsibilities:
• Own the backlog for assigned delivery pods.
• Translate approved initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance items into Product Backlog Items (PBIs) such as epics, features, and detailed user stories/tasks.
• Ensure PBIs include clear acceptance criteria, business rules, edge cases, dependencies, and measurement requirements.
• Maintain backlog health, refinement cadence, and multi-sprint readiness.
• Partner with Technology Leads to support estimation and sprint/increment planning.
• Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements prior to release.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and business intent for assigned initiatives.
• Facilitate working sessions to refine scope and eliminate ambiguity.
• Communicate business context and objectives to delivery teams to ensure shared understanding.
• Escalate scope gaps, trade-offs, or risks to the Director, Product as needed.
• Manage User Acceptance Test (UAT) processes with stakeholders to achieve their signoff prior to releasing features to Production applications.
• Support execution of platform-specific workstreams within PMO-led enterprise programs.
• Translate program objectives into actionable pod-level PBIs.
• Align pod-level milestones to program timelines.
• Provide delivery updates and risk insights to the Product Leadership and/or relevant Initiative Lead(s) for consolidated reporting.
• Support intake processes as needed for enhancements and maintenance items.
• Manage the execution of enhancements and maintenance items assigned to pods.
• Ensure analytics requirements are embedded within user stories.
• Support rapid iteration while maintaining scope discipline.
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively identify blockers.
• Align pod-level commitments with defined capacity allocations.
• Support sizing and forecasting activities led by Product Leadership.
• Monitor sprint-level scope changes that may impact timeline or budget.
• Maintain visibility into initiative progress against approved scope.
• Partner closely with Technology Leads on feasibility and sequencing.
• Partner closely with UI/UX Design on experience alignment and artifact completeness.
• Partner closely with Experimentation & Research on testing and measurement needs.
• Coordinate dependencies across enterprise systems and integrations as required.
• Maintain structured documentation in approved tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Ensure traceability between approved initiatives and backlog items.
• Support release readiness activities including scope validation and stakeholder communication.
• Drive adoption of automation and AI-assisted practices leveraging AI tools to improve team productivity, automate workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Field(s) Of Study: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Digital Media or Related Field.
• 5–8 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analysis.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience writing detailed user stories and managing product backlogs.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms.
• Experience operating within internal/MSP hybrid delivery models.
• Experience in hospitality, travel, cruise, gaming, or consumer-facing digital ecosystems.
• Experience supporting web and/or mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with CMS, PIM, personalization frameworks, booking systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Relevant certifications in product management, Agile methodologies, digital strategy, AI/ML, or cloud technologies.
