IF7 is a next-gen media company shaping culture through storytelling, talent, and technology. We concept and execute creator-led, social-first campaigns that connect some of the world’s biggest and best brands with Gen Z and young Millennial audiences in meaningful ways.

What is the Role?
We’re seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to lead campaign concepting and creative storytelling across our pitch and activation work. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes big ideas, visual narratives, and digital culture – and who knows how to guide a team toward relevant, big creative under tight timelines. You’ll help drive ideation, build campaign paths, and ensure every pitch deck is thoughtful, compelling, and distinctively IF7.
Location: NYC  - Hybrid [3x days a week in office]
Reports to: VP, Creative Strategy
What Does Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

  • Lead the development of bold, creator-led campaign ideas across pre-sale RFPs, pitches, and proactive brand storytelling
  • Inspire and lead Creative Team brainstorms and trend tracking sessions
  • Oversee the development of pitch decks – ensuring the creative ideas, general flow, and visuals are best-in-class
  • Partner with the Director of Integrated Marketing to ensure creative ideas are strategically sound and RFP-aligned
  • Serve as a lead on external client presentations for select pitches
  • Review and refine creator concepts during campaign activation – primarily across TikTok and Instagram to ensure the creative vision aligns with client goals and brand voice
  • Review creator content (scripts, treatments, V1s) with an eye for consistency, quality, and originality
  • Mentor and manage junior team members; provide structured guidance to elevate their creative thinking and ownership
  • Contribute to culture by staying tapped into Gen Z and Millennial trends, tracking competitor work, and bringing forward smart, differentiated campaign ideas
Our Ideal Candidate: 
  • 7-10 years experience in creative strategy, branded content or influencer marketing
  • A strong POV and proven track record of leading innovative, multi-platform campaign work from idea to execution
  • Experience in production/experiential work, with a track record for activating campaigns on-set with clients present
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and writing skills – with the ability to make decks not just strategic, but beautiful and compelling
  • Strong leadership experience – including mentoring junior talent, running brainstorms, and providing effective feedback
  • Passion for internet culture, creators, Gen Z trends, and experiential marketing is a must
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once, with a calm and collaborative approach
  • Advanced in Canva; bonus: Adobe Premiere, Photoshop
