Job description

30hop Group is seeking a full-time Brand Content Producer to join our team! We’re looking for a creative storyteller who is genuinely good with a camera and knows how to capture authentic moments through photo and video.

You’ll produce content from inside our restaurants and the communities we serve across 30hop, Tribute Eatery & Bar, and Iowa Athletic Club, so what people see online is recognizably the same brand they experience when they walk through our doors.

30hop Group is a growing Midwest restaurant group behind three distinct brands: 30hop, with six locations and two more planned for 2027; Tribute Eatery & Bar, with two locations; and Iowa Athletic Club. Our restaurants span across Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri, with more growth ahead.

As our Brand Content Producer, you’ll help shape how these brands show up and tell their stories. We’re focused on creating content for people, not algorithms. Original, well-made work that feels unmistakably ours. That could mean developing long-form video and YouTube stories, capturing the energy inside our restaurants, or turning everyday moments with our food, teams, and guests into compelling social content.

If you’re a hands-on creator who wants the freedom to make distinctive work and see it come to life across growing restaurant brands, this is an opportunity to have a real creative impact.

Salary: $65,000 to $79,000/year based on experience

Benefits:

  • Medical insurance with 50% of the premium covered by 30hop
  • Dental and vision options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary employer match
  • 2 weeks of PTO per year and up based on years of service
  • Paid parental leave
  • Free Employee Assistance Program for employees and their families
  • Employee discounts and restaurant perks
  • Mileage, hotel, and approved expenses reimbursed for required business travel

Accountabilities:

  • Photo and Video Production
  • Social Media Strategy and Execution
  • Long-Form Video and YouTube
  • Content Planning and Scheduling
  • Community Management
  • Brand Storytelling and Voice
  • Asset Management
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Essential Functions:

  • Spend approximately 70% of the role producing photo and video content and 30% managing and executing social media.
  • Shoot and edit content across 30hop, Tribute Eatery & Bar, and Iowa Athletic Club, including food, people, restaurant environments, events, and community stories.
  • Own social media execution across all three brands, including content calendars, publishing, community management, and our anchor content franchise.
  • Develop long-form video and help establish YouTube as a meaningful brand channel- not simply an archive for existing content.
  • Turn long-form stories into short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social channels.
  • Plan and execute shoots using professional standards for lighting, sound, composition, and editing.
  • Capture spontaneous moments while maintaining the same quality and brand fit expected of planned content.
  • Write clean, engaging social copy consistent with each brand’s established voice.
  • Maintain current photo and video asset libraries across brands and restaurant locations.
  • Partner with the Director of Brand & Marketing, restaurant operators, and other teams to identify stories, people, events, and moments worth capturing.
  • Monitor social channels, engage with Guests and communities, and help strengthen relationships with our audiences.
  • Stay current on platforms, production techniques, and content trends while prioritizing original ideas that are authentic to our brands.
  • Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as needed.

Expectations:

  • Produce original, high-quality work that feels unmistakably connected to our brands rather than creating content simply because it is trending or worked for someone else.
  • Bring creativity and personality to the work while maintaining each brand’s established voice and visual identity.
  • Be self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage shoots, content calendars, deadlines, and multiple brands.
  • Be personable and comfortable working with restaurant employees, Guests, and community members to capture genuine moments.
  • Travel approximately five days per month across Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, and Indiana, with additional travel surrounding new restaurant openings.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional photo and video production experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both videography and photography, particularly work featuring people, environments, and storytelling, not just food or product photography.
  • Strong working knowledge of professional cameras, lighting, audio, and editing software.
  • Experience creating and publishing content across major social platforms.
  • Experience with or working knowledge of YouTube Studio.
  • Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills.
  • Self-directed and collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and restaurant locations.
  • Restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but not r
