POSITION SUMMARY
Our growing Personal Injury law firm, with more than 80 team members, is seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee and advance our technology strategy. As one of Florida's earliest adopters of FILEVINE, we are looking for someone who can take our AI, FILEVINE, Lead Docket, DOMO, and data consolidation initiatives to the next level while maximizing the potential of our technology platforms, leading our IT department, and driving innovation throughout the firm.
If you have exceptional leadership skills, advanced IT expertise, strong AI knowledge, and extensive experience with FILEVINE, you may be the ideal candidate for our Director of Information Technology position.
This position requires you to live in (or relocate to) beautiful West Palm Beach, Florida. This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for developing and executing the firm's technology strategy while ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations. This individual will lead the IT department, oversee infrastructure and cybersecurity, optimize legal technology platforms, and champion the firm's use of artificial intelligence, automation, and business intelligence tools.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the firm's Information Technology department.
  • Develop and implement the firm's technology roadmap and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as the firm's subject matter expert and administrator for FILEVINE, ensuring best practices, workflow optimization, reporting, automation, and user adoption.
  • Drive the firm's AI strategy by identifying, implementing, and managing AI solutions that improve efficiency, client service, and productivity.
  • Oversee and optimize Lead Docket, DOMO, and other technology platforms to improve reporting, marketing analytics, and operational performance.
  • Develop and manage data integration and consolidation initiatives across multiple software platforms to create reliable, actionable business intelligence.
  • Manage cybersecurity, disaster recovery, risk management, and compliance with applicable data security standards.
  • Oversee network infrastructure, cloud services, hardware, software licensing, telecommunications, and vendor relationships.
  • Lead technology projects from planning through implementation while ensuring minimal disruption to firm operations.
  • Manage the IT budget and evaluate new technologies that improve firm performance and return on investment.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop IT staff while fostering a culture of innovation and excellent customer service.
  • Provide executive leadership with technology recommendations that align with the firm's strategic goals.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Five or more years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Significant experience administering and optimizing FILEVINE in a legal environment.
  • Experience with Lead Docket, DOMO, legal technology platforms, document management systems, and workflow automation.
  • Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence tools and practical business applications.
  • Experience integrating multiple software platforms and consolidating data for reporting and analytics.
  • Strong data analytics skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, executives, and staff.
  • Personal Injury law firm experience is strongly preferred
