We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and experienced Dental Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team at a busy pediatric dental office. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face and voice of our practice, ensuring the smooth flow of daily administrative and patient-facing operations. Proficiency in dental insurance filing and exceptional phone etiquette are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Welcome & Scheduling:

    • Greet patients and their families warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in/check-out process efficiently.

    • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments, managing the clinical schedule to optimize flow.

    • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

  • Insurance and Billing (Crucial Skill):

    • Expertly manage all aspects of insurance filing and claims submission.

    • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.

    • Prepare and present treatment plan estimates, clearly communicating patient financial responsibilities.
