This position will report directly to the Monomer/P&S/SW Manufacturing Technology Manager and will provide process engineering support within the Monomer production area. This role performs chemical engineering assignments supporting production, process improvement, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and capital projects. The engineer will work closely with operations, maintenance, and other engineering disciplines to monitor process performance, resolve manufacturing issues, and implement safe and effective process improvements. The position will also support commissioning, startups, shutdowns, process testing, and capital‑project execution, with opportunities to take on increasing technical responsibility as experience develops.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor chemical process performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing process issues

  • Develop and implement chemical process improvements, including changes to process conditions, piping, valves, controls, and operating procedures
  • Support the design and execution of process engineering projects, including small capital projects, equipment installations, and plant upgrades
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and block flow diagrams
  • Conduct field assessments and audits of chemical processing equipment and support troubleshooting of process and equipment performance issues
  • Support preventive and predictive programs related to process reliability and chemical engineering scope
  • Participate in commissioning, startups, shutdowns, turnarounds, and equipment restoration activities as needed

  • Comprehensive Benefits Packages
  • 401(k) Match
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Learning and Development Opportunities
  • Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives
