Job description

Responsibilities
  • Pull, route, and install fiber optic cable
  • Assist with low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations
  • Work with cable pathways, conduits, and telecommunications equipment
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
  • Install, terminate, and test cabling as directed
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Travel between project sites throughout Massachusetts
  • Support lead technicians and project teams to ensure successful project completion
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in one or more of the following:
    • Fiber optics
    • Low-voltage systems
    • Structured cabling
    • Electrical work
    • Telecommunications
    • Security systems
    • AV installations
    • Construction
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel to various project locations throughout Massachusetts
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Fiber optic installation experience
  • Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, or coax cabling experience

Pay and Benefits
