Job Overview:

Pay Range: $40/hr - $45/hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 3+ years Globus platform experience (GCS v5, endpoints, collections).
  • Strong GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking).
  • Linux system administration and scripting (Bash).
  • Understanding of GridFTP and high-throughput data transfers.
  • Experience with networking, security, and Zero-Trust principles.
  • Background in MFT or large-scale data transfer environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete Globus Connect Server deployment.
  • Configure storage gateways and data transfer workflows.
  • Onboard research users while providing Tier 1/2 operational support.
  • Manage large-scale, secure data transfers.
  • Maintain platform health and optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards (HIPAA, NIST, Zero-Trust).
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to establish operational processes.
  • Support production readiness and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer.
