Job description

Clinical Director - Autism Services

Location: Tampa, FL

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the outpatient autism services program.
  • Develop, oversee, and implement individualized treatment programming aligned with patient treatment plan goals.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Associate Clinical Directors, BCBA/clinical staff, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Behavior Therapists.
  • Oversee patient intake, evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, and required clinical documentation.
  • Ensure effective implementation of behavior management strategies and intervention plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including young and school-aged children, using ABA programming.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification/licensure required.

Required Skills

  • Strong clinical leadership and staff supervision skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and autism treatment programming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents/families, schools, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational, delegation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple clinical priorities in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
