Job description

Green View is a family-owned landscaping company in Central Illinois, running since 1955. We're hiring a Foreman to lead a mowing crew keeping lawns on homes and businesses looking sharp, while training and directing your team.
What you'll do:
  • Lead your crew on mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, and weed control
  • Run and oversee use of zero-turn, ride-on, stand-on, and push mowers, string trimmers, blowers, edgers, and hedge trimmers
  • Plan daily routes and workflows to keep the crew efficient and on schedule
  • Train and mentor crew members on technique, equipment, and safety
  • Inspect equipment before each job and enforce safety standards
  • Track materials and labor hours accurately
  • Handle on-site client questions and make field adjustments as needed
  • Help with snow removal in winter

What you need:
  • Experience in lawn/grounds maintenance, with a willingness to lead
  • Comfortable directing a crew and holding people accountable to quality standards
  • Valid Illinois driver's license, clean driving record
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs and work outside in all weather
  • Available for snow operations as needed
