Job description


OVERVIEW:

As the supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and maintaining Global Crossings maintenance procedures as per the GMM.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Set Manpower schedules to assure flight line coverage.
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Track and reinforce maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Plan and manage all Work Orders, repair and aircraft activities.
  • Ensure all personnel adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance planning.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Assist on the line with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians as needed.
  • Paperwork reviews and Log page and Work package Corrections
  • Maintain MEL and DMI items and track progress.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management or similar field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ Airbus experience in maintenance.
  • Previous supervisor experience is a bonus.
  • Good understanding of the technical features of Airbus TSM, electrical systems, and TRAX.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2-5 years air carrier commercial aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must meet the recent experience requirements in accordance with 14 CR 65.83.
  • Hold a current Airframe and Powerplant Certification.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
