Description:

The Customer Service Representative coordinates with all departments including accounting, quality control, and the receiving department to ensure production requirements are met.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with customers, internal department, and support staff to accomplish both team and company goals.

· Organize documents to meet customer deadlines, manage calls and emails professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.

· Greet visitors and customers as they enter the building and notify host of arrival.

· Receive customer material into ERP system in a timely manner after receipt.

· Assist in creating work orders and issuing to the shop in a timely manner.

· Assist in timely shipping of customer products on a daily basis.

· Review work orders for accuracy, where appropriate.

· Support customer sales through courteous professional service, education, and effective problem solving, meeting needs of the customer in a timely manner.

· Work with Production Manager on inbound/outbound order issues, returns, etc.

· Maintain, file, and update documents.

· Assist with quality issues as needed and as directed. 

· Answers the telephone, providing information and assistance to callers. Forwards calls and takes messages as appropriate. 

· Performs office duties as required, including attending meetings, preparing reports and correspondence, reviewing mail, etc.

· Communicate effectively with key stakeholders and upper management, providing information and insights that are valuable to business decision-making. 

· Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates and shall exercise any additional powers that are or may be legally conferred upon the position by the Plant Manager or President.

· Exhibit company core values on a daily basis and lead by example with a positive work attitude towards customers and co-workers.

· All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications and Required/Preferred Skills:

· High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred

· 1-3 years of previous manufacturing, production, or customer service experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook required 

· Ability to use computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, and custom applications

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with other staff, vendors, contractors and the general public

· Organized and detail-oriented with strong level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task

· Basic knowledge of production/product development in a manufacturing facility

· Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines

· High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential information
