99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in the United States. We have store locations in California, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Massachusetts, Virginia, New Jersey and more to come! We are passionate and honored to be shaping the Asian Supermarket culture within the grocery industry. As 99 Ranch Market expends, we have new positions open. Summary:
We’re looking for a Customer Experience & Community Ambassador to bring our store to life through customer engagement, social media content, and in-store experiences. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, stays on top of trends, and enjoys creating content that connects with the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers on the floor and create a welcoming, energetic environment.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and store teams to improve overall experience.
  • Promote loyalty program sign-ups and social media engagement.
  • Manage store-level social media accounts (WeChat, Xiaohongshu/RED NOTE, and more).
  • Post daily content featuring new products, promotions, and in-store highlights.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and engage with the online community.
  • Partner with store teams to ensure promotional and seasonal displays are executed according to Support Center guidelines.
  • Help maintain strong visual presentation of featured products to maximize impact.
  • Provide feedback on what resonates with customers and drives engagement.
  • Support and host in-store demos, sampling events, and promotions.
  • Bring energy and creativity to every customer touchpoint.
  • Support store manager with store operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1 year of marketing and social media outreach experience preferred.
  • Comfortable on camera and confident creating social media content.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and a natural people person.
  •  Familiar with WeChat, Xiaohongshu (RED NOTE), Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Creative, proactive, and full of ideas.
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration mindset.
  •  Passion for food, culture, and the 99 Ranch Market brand.
  •  Bilingual (English & Chinese) is a must.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:
  • Grocery store environment, exposure to fresh produce, including varying temperatures and humidity levels.

Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time.
  • Location: 140 W. Valley Blvd., #150, San Gabriel, CA 91776.
  • Wednesday–Sunday | Weekends Required.
