Job description

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality care and support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, or behavioral disabilities while helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities * Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene). * Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. * Administer medications as directed and document appropriately. * Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement. * Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments and community activities. * Maintain accurate documentation and daily reports. * Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment. * Follow all company policies, care plans, and state regulations. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required. * Previous direct care, caregiving, CNA, home health aide, or healthcare experience preferred (training may be available). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. * Ability to pass a background check. * CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
