We are currently hiring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are passionate about empowering individuals to lead fulfilling, independent lives.


This is a caregiving role for adults who have intellectual disabilities, this house has heavy medical needs and assisting with Daily Activities of Living such as toileting and bathing,


About the Role: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 2PM - 9PM. Saturday and Sunday 3-9 for 33 hours per week


As a Direct Support Staff, you will provide essential care, companionship, and support to residents with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You’ll accompany residents throughout their day—from daily routines and medical appointments to recreational and community-based activities—ensuring their health, safety, and dignity.

This role is more than just caregiving; it's about building meaningful relationships, promoting independence, and creating a positive impact in someone’s life every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer prescribed medications and track health conditions under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Prepare meals based on dietary plans and restrictions from the assigned dietitian
  • Provide safe transportation to day programs, work programs, family visits, and community events
  • Facilitate recreational, therapeutic, and social activities to enrich clients' lives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for residents
  • Accurately document services, incidents, medications, and daily care logs
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and clinical teams

Requirements:

THESE ARE THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:

  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, direct support, behavioral health, or related field preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and assist with physical care
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Strong communication, patience, and time-management skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check AND dmv
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
  • A Valid Driver's License that is 3 years old to meet insurance requirements
