About the Role:
AmeriCare Health and Rehab Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and daily living assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
  • Assist clients with community integration, social activities, and recreational outings
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions per established protocols
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved techniques and de-escalation strategies
Requirements:
