A major regional health system in Oregon is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for a permanent, full-time role supporting acute care, critical care, and emergency services. Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care across medical floors, adult critical care, and emergency services
Administer breathing treatments and airway therapies
Perform secretion mobilization treatments
Manage non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation
Assist with intubations and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Draw and analyze arterial blood gases
Obtain EKGs and support cardiac monitoring
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Document respiratory treatments and assessments in EPIC
Ensure equipment safety and maintain respiratory therapy standards

Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) โ€“ Required
Oregon Respiratory Therapist License โ€“ Required (temporary license may be available while obtaining permanent licensure)
BLS Certification (AHA) โ€“ Required
Minimum 1 year respiratory therapy experience preferred
Will consider new grads 
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced acute care environments
