Job description

Position Details

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Schedule: Days and Nights available


Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation

  • Provide supportive care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment within the home

  • Monitor and record vital signs when required

  • Assist with mobility and ensure the safety of residents at all times

  • Transport clients to appointments, community activities, or errands when required

  • Follow care plans and tasks assigned by the House Manager, LPN, or RN

  • Provide emotional support and encourage independence in daily activities

  • Accurately document services and report any behavioral or health concerns

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional with high behavioral individuals

  • State Certified Direct Support Professional (DSP)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Current CPR (hands-on) and First Aid Certification

  • TB test within 1 year or Quantiferon Gold test

  • Physical examination completed within the past year

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both day and night shifts
