Hiring DSP IIs in Columbia SC - company vehicle 

40 hrs/week or PRN. 

2nd shift 4p–12a | 3rd shift 12a–8a. 

13 weeks then permanent. 

Orientation 9/29, 9 days on dayshift then transition to 2nd or 3rd after orientation

Must have SC DL + HS Diploma/GED.

The center provides residential services, vocational programs, community integration, and daily living support to help clients build independence and meaningful life skills. Staff work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on safety, compassion, and person-centered care. Roles here typically involve direct support, transportation assistance, documentation, and helping clients navigate daily routines while promoting dignity and empowerment.

The Direct Support Personnel II assists individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home, community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel II works directly with the resident and provides supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel II should follow the guidance of the resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid and current auto insurance
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
