Job Title: Dining Services Associate  *cooking experience a big plus*


Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Services Associate to join our team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to meal service and resident engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

- Set up dining service areas and ensure a welcoming environment for residents during meal times.

- Provide meal service in the dining room and assist with clean-up after meals.

- Deliver meals to residents in their rooms and collect trays afterward to maintain cleanliness and organization.

- Transport meals to other locations as needed; a valid driver's license is required for this task.

- Engage with residents through participation in various activities to enhance their dining experience.

- Attend mandatory team meetings and training courses to stay updated on best practices and policies.

- Comply with all Assisted Living policies and procedures as set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including CPR training and other required certifications.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Willingness to learn and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Be reliable and willing to work as a team member.

Reliable transportation

Understand the importance of safety, health, and hygiene. 

Experience working with older adults preferred.

Ability to successfully pass CORI process.

Ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.

Good communication skills required.

Able to work a flexible schedule/assigned shift including some evenings and weekends.

Must have an amiable personality and be able to relate well with others.
