Job Description:

The Analyst or Associate will play a critical role servicing and enhancing Dimensional's expanded unified managed account (UMA) offering within the UMA Solutions team.The Analyst or Associate will develop expertise in investment strategies and tax management, portfolio analysis, technology, and operations to deliver excellent client service. The position also will develop familiarity with Dimensional's investment philosophy and implementation process to support clients in the context of our overall relationship.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day client service, live account service, portfolio accounting and custody support.

  • Help advisors understand UMA standard practices, from raising cash to evaluating portfolio change alternatives.

  • Contribute to SMA service delivery by identifying process improvement opportunities.

  • Help portfolio managers efficiently launch accounts and complete service requests, with close attention to detail.

  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve SMA operational issues.

  • Develop knowledge and offer solutions to advocate for Dimensional's investment process as implemented in SMAs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field required.

  • Relevant internship or full time work experience.

  • Excellent critical thinking and written communication skills.

  • Ability to accurately present detailed information and escalate issues.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and impact and influence others across the organization to grow an innovative, fast-growing business with high visibility.

  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple assignments in fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

  • MS Excel skills preferred.
