Overview

We are recruiting a Registered Nurse RN for a full-time behavioral health opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting and wants to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a structured hospital environment.

The Registered Nurse will support clinical, operational, and administrative excellence while helping patients receive safe, effective, and respectful care throughout their treatment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop care plans within required timeframes
  • Document assessment findings and care updates according to facility policy
  • Oversee and supervise assigned shift responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, and related patient care duties
  • Support staff adherence to nursing policies and procedures
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately
  • Administer medications according to hospital policy
  • Provide quality nursing care aligned with treatment plan goals
  • Interact with patients using empathy, dignity, and respect
  • Assist with or perform comprehensive nursing assessments

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license as required by Texas state regulations
  • At least 1 year of RN experience
  • Behavioral health experience
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required
  • CPR certification and de-escalation certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
