Job description

Position Summary:

The purpose of this job is to create and maintain supporting assets required for in-store product placement guidance.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  • Create, revise, and maintain in-store signage placement guide, POP, and signage requests from merchant teams.
  • Manage and organize signage database.
  • Collaborate with marketing for creative signage requests needed for displays, planograms, storefront windows, and other store signage needs.
  • Align with Category Teams, Inventory Management, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and the Grand Opening Team to ensure best practices are followed for all Visual Merchandising initiatives.
  • Drive timeline deliverables for projects and initiatives with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare digital assets for internal use in-store directives and merchandising guides utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Provide prompt guidance and merchandising support to GC Retail Stores .
  • Support company initiatives and programs.
  • Collect and capture ideas for upcoming trends in Visual Merchandising concepts and product builds.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 2 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience) with an understanding of visual merchandising in a retail environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
