About You

You are a consultative sales professional who knows how to build trust with enterprise decision-makers and turn complex problems into compelling solutions. You thrive in a high-accountability environment, take full ownership of your pipeline, and bring both the tenacity to prospect and the polish to close. You are energized by a fast-moving team culture, comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder deals with operations, finance, and procurement leads, and motivated by uncapped earning potential tied directly to your results. What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

• Prospect and close enterprise-level commercial and industrial clients across Canada and the US, positioning DNE's integrated Spend Less, Use Less, Harm Less framework as a long-term energy management partnership;
• Manage both inbound leads generated by DNE's marketing team and BDR team alongside your own outbound pipeline, owning the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract;
• Conduct energy consumption and risk profile assessments with clients to develop tailored procurement strategies - identifying demand charge savings opportunities and building smarter budget forecasting plans;
• Present customized energy programs sourced from DNE's trusted supplier network, translating complex rate and distribution structures into clear financial outcomes for enterprise decision-makers;
• Drive upsell and renewal conversations across your book of business, layering in efficiency solutions (energy audits, demand response) and sustainability offerings (RECs, carbon offsets, solar) to deepen client value over time;
• Represent DNE's expanded portfolio - including communication services and SaaS solutions through AppDirect - to deliver increasingly integrated value to enterprise clients across key verticals including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and hospitality.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in energy or a related commercial services environment serving industrial and commercial clients;
• Proven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cycles with enterprise-level stakeholders - including operations, finance, and procurement leads - from prospecting through close;
• Comfortable working within a structured sales team alongside BDRs and marketing, managing both inbound pipeline and self-generated outbound opportunities simultaneously;
• Familiarity with deregulated energy markets in Canada and/or the US is a strong asset; ability to read utility bills and explain rate structures to non-technical decision-makers is a plus;
• Fluency in English required to build credibility with enterprise clients across North America; additional languages are a genuine asset given DNE's diverse, 10-country team.
