Job description

Production Associate, 1st Shift

Digital Room, LLC · Wixom, MI

Love seeing a job done right? So do we. At our Wixom facility, we produce large format print — banners, posters, signage, and rigid display graphics — for thousands of businesses across the country. We're growing, and we're looking for dependable, detail-driven people to help us pack and ship high-quality work that keeps customers coming back.

This is hands-on production floor work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled shop where good work gets noticed and there's real room to grow.

The basics
  • Location: Wixom, MI (on-site)
  • Type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt)
  • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 6am-2pm EST
  • Pay: $16.00/hr.
  • Reports to: 1st Shift Supervisor
Why you'll like working here
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid Time Off and Sick Time
  • 100% employer-paid short-term/long-term disability and life insurance
  • Incentive bonus programs and a matching 401(k)
  • On-the-job training plus management training programs for people who want to move up
  • Employee discounts and frequent employee appreciation events
  • A climate-controlled, casual environment — and yes, you can listen to music while you work

We're building a culture of continuous improvement, where every person is respected, ideas to make the work better are welcome, and we cross-train across stations so the team can grow together and support one another. If you take pride in your work and want to be part of something that keeps getting better, you'll fit right in.

What you'll do
  • Inspect finished print products for quality, catching issues like color, alignment, or print defects before they ship
  • Count and verify products against each order to make sure it's complete and correct
  • Pack and seal product securely, then stage it for shipping
  • Prepare boxes, tubes, and packaging to keep up with the day's workload
  • Cross-train and rotate across stations to keep production moving
  • Keep your equipment, tools, and workspace safe and in good order
  • Help prioritize incoming orders to hit production and shipping deadlines
What you'll bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure, plus basic math skills
  • Comfort using a computer and moving between different systems and platforms
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle priorities
  • A team-first attitude, reliability, and the drive to learn and take on more — leadership potential is a big plus
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist for up to 8 hours a day and to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds

No prior experience required — we'll train you. Experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or print environment is a plus.

What the work is like

This is an active role on the production floor. It requires the ability to stand, bend, and twist for up to 8 hours a day, and to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.

Digital Room is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
