Production Associate, 1st Shift

About the Role

As a Production Associate, you prepare, inspect, and package finished large format print products, such as banners, posters, signage, and rigid display graphics, for shipment. Working across stations in a fast-paced production environment, you help make sure every order is accurate, complete, and meets our quality standards before it goes out the door. No prior experience is required. We provide on-the-job training and cross-train you across the department so you can grow with us.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare boxes and materials for packing finished print orders.
  • Inspect finished product for quality, checking for print defects, color, and alignment against order requirements.
  • Count and verify finished pieces against the order to make sure it is accurate and complete.
  • Seal, label, and stage completed orders for shipping.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow all safety procedures.
  • Cross-train and rotate through the various stations within the department to build versatility, support production flow, and cover business needs.
  • Manage time effectively and help prioritize incoming orders to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Remain available for required overtime based on business needs.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
What We’re Looking ForRequired
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate between multiple software platforms and systems.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Ability to use and accurately read a tape measure.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong leadership ability and initiative.
  • Strong time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize orders effectively.
Preferred (nice to have)
  • Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience.
  • Experience in a print or large format production environment.
  • Forklift familiarity.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Stand, bend, and twist for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Use small hand tools and accurately read a tape measure.
  • See, hear, and speak within normal limits in order to communicate effectively in production areas.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced e-commerce large format print production facility.
  • On-site role performed on the production floor.
  • Climate-controlled with adequate lighting, heat, and A/C.
  • Casual dress policy and creative culture.
  • May require overtime based on production demand.
