Job Description

Trucordia is a billion-dollar insurance brokerage undergoing a significant digital transformation to modernize technology, operations, and partner ecosystems. We are seeking a Director of Procurement to lead and execute enterprise technology procurement and strategic partnerships during this period of growth and change. This role will work closely with executive and senior leadership to ensure technology investments align with business strategy, risk standards, and company values.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Define and drive the enterprise-wide technology procurement strategy and vision for core insurance platforms, software, automation, and virtual assistant technologies, aligning with long-term business objectives, digital transformation priorities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive oversight of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, establishing scalable sourcing frameworks, governance standards, and best practices across requirements definition, RFP processes, vendor selection, contracting, and performance management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing enterprise technology investment decisions through data-driven insights, market intelligence, and risk and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Build and maintain strategic, executive-level relationships with key technology partners, driving innovation, long-term value creation, and positioning the organization as a preferred partner.
  • Lead complex, high-value negotiations for technology and service agreements, ensuring optimal outcomes across commercial terms, service levels, data protection, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Champion the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, including automation and virtual assistant solutions, to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Establish and govern procurement operating models, policies, and performance metrics, delivering executive-level reporting on vendor performance, financial outcomes, and strategic impact.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing procurement analyst, driving organizational capability, cross-functional alignment, and delivering measurable cost optimization and enterprise value realization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred or equivalent enterprise leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology procurement and strategic sourcing, including leadership of enterprise-wide vendor strategies and executive-level partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, high-value negotiations and contracting strategies for technology and services within highly regulated or risk-sensitive environments.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive enterprise decision-making, aligning procurement strategies with organizational priorities, digital transformation efforts, and long-term business objectives.
  • Extensive experience managing enterprise technology spend, financial planning, and cost optimization initiatives, delivering measurable business value, operational efficiency, and return on investment.
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships, with exceptional communication, executive presence, and the ability to represent organizational values internally and externally.
