What is a digital media video editor?

Digital Media Video Editors are professionals who use specialized software to assemble, edit, and enhance video footage for digital platforms such as social media, websites, and streaming services. They work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to create visually compelling stories and ensure the final video meets project specifications. Their responsibilities include cutting and arranging footage, adding effects, transitions, sound, and graphics, and optimizing videos for different formats. Video editors must stay current with industry trends and software updates to produce high-quality content.
