Job description

E-Logic is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to support multimedia content creation and digital communications for the U.S. Department of State. This position will create, edit, and publish engaging digital media while supporting video production, social media initiatives, and multimedia asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and edit digital video content for web and social media.
  • Develop scripts and multimedia content supporting Department initiatives.
  • Maintain organized media assets and file management systems.
  • Assist with photography, videography, lighting, and audio production.
  • Publish multimedia content across digital platforms.
  • Support accessibility, captioning, and multimedia best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Multimedia, Communications, Digital Media, Film Production, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional multimedia production experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder.
  • Knowledge of video production, social media publishing, SEO, captioning, and media asset management.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting public affairs or federal communications.
  • Experience producing content for social media campaigns.Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards.
Work Location

Washington, DC (Department of State Headquarters and Annex 5). Limited telework may be authorized with Government approval based on project requirements.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
