This opportunity is ideal for a skilled estimator with strong commercial HVAC and mechanical systems experience who wants to play a critical role in pricing, planning, and supporting large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex HVAC replacements, mechanical upgrades, energy optimization solutions, and large-tonnage equipment projects while gaining valuable project coordination experience that can lead to future growth into senior estimating or project management roles.

At Flow Building Solutions, we specialize in commercial and industrial HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing services throughout the Atlanta market. If you are highly detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to contribute to meaningful commercial projects, this could be the next major step in your career.

Why Work With Us

  • Competitive pay of $32.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees
  • Family coverage options available
  • 401(k) with 6% company match

  • Supportive leadership team with long-term growth potential

What You'll Do
In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial mechanical and HVAC projects by reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents; performing detailed labor and material takeoffs; developing proposals; coordinating vendor and subcontractor pricing; and ensuring all estimates are complete and aligned with project scope. Once projects are awarded, you will also support project coordination through submittals, RFIs, procurement assistance, job cost tracking, and documentation management. This role is primarily office-based, with occasional field visits for pre-bid meetings, site verification, and project support.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of commercial HVAC or mechanical estimating experience, with strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems, construction practices, and estimating processes. Candidates should be comfortable reading construction plans and specifications, performing digital takeoffs, managing documentation, and working with estimating software such as FastEST, QuoteSoft, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar platforms. Strong communication, organization, and vendor coordination skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience supporting projects from preconstruction through closeout, subcontractor buyout, scheduling, and job cost tracking will stand out. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with strong practical experience.

If you are ready to join a growing commercial mechanical contractor where your estimating expertise directly impacts project success, long-term growth, and company performance, we encourage you to apply today.
