We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Digital Learning Team. The Project Coordinator will support a department that facilitates operational and project education components to drive a culture of adoption and change management at a unit level for all disciplines. The Project Coordinator – Digital Learning Team will also coordinate  monthly Mediech Orientation and onboarding for new staff and students/instructors, all project work phases, operational upgrades, electronic documentation optimization changes, support downtimes and coordinate and assist in the development of education related to all small works projects. 

 

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Digital Learning Team

Hours of Work: 37.5 hr/week

Location: Wilson site

Employee Group:  Non Union

Salary Range: $68,714.10-$85,948.20

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and promotes the implementation of project plans, timeframes, schedules, budgets and communication materials for the Digital Learning Team.
  • Plans, promotes and coordinates, including but not limited to facilitate Meditech Orientation of monthly onboarding for new staff and students/instructors, all Corporate project work phases, operational upgrades, electronic documentation optimization changes, support downtimes and coordinate and assist in the development of education related to all small works projects.  Coordinates and compiles data regarding department operations, projects and annual reporting.
  • Assists the Manager in the development of long and short-range department goals.
  • Coordinate project meetings; design learning activities and build a resource hub in order to meet our goal that focuses on fostering a culture of engagement, adoption and change management.
  • Maintaining the training environment in Meditech test and within the scripting tool.
  • Create and maintain internal and external stakeholder database, including nature of partnerships with HRH and summary of activities for tracking and as a community repository to support referrals and maintain external relations.
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Uses project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spent as needed.
  • Act as a central point of contact for requests for information.
  • Enter payroll data for department staff; prepare invoices.
  • Track departmental supplies inventory and order supplies to anticipate department needs.
  • Research products being considered for purchase.
  • Coordinate office applications/equipment repair and maintenance schedule. 
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record a requirement

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Undergraduate level degree in the area of Business, Administration or Communications related field required
  • Completion of Project Management Certificate, preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Project coordination, and program facilitation
  • Must have experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as MS Project
  • Strong Project coordination /Management experience
  • Prior experience as an Instructor/Trainer preferred
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement and group facilitation skills
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Tact and Diplomacy
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills
