We are seeking an experienced Neuroimaging Processing Analyst who specializes in acquisition, processing and analyzing neuroimaging data. This role involves harmonizing image acquisitions across sites and working with large-scale MRI, fMRI, diffusion-weighted MRI, and PET datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive innovation in our cutting-edge research and medical device development.

Job Description:

•             As a Neuroimaging & Image Acquisition and Processing Analyst, you will work closely with our neuroscience, R&D, and clinical research teams to develop and implement advanced imaging analysis pipelines for MRI, fMRI, diffusion-weighted MRI, PET, and other neuroimaging modalities. You will be responsible for harmonizing image acquisitions across study sites, processing, analyzing, and interpreting complex neuroimaging datasets, contributing to groundbreaking research in neurological disease diagnostics and treatment development. In addition to developing cutting-edge image processing algorithms, you will play a key role in designing neuroimaging experiments, computational models, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring compliance with research and clinical standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including radiologists, biomedical engineers, neuroscientists, and clinicians, will be integral to integrating imaging findings into ongoing research and device development projects. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and independent expert in neuroimaging analysis, comfortable working with large datasets, implementing AI-based solutions, and advancing state-of-the-art imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Image Acquisition, Processing & Analysis

•             Develop, implement, and optimize advanced image acquisition and processing algorithms for brain MRI, fMRI, diffusion-weighted MRI, PET, and other neuroimaging data.

•             Perform statistical analysis, segmentation, filtering, and preprocessing of imaging datasets.

•             Conduct MR bias correction, histogram analysis, and principle axis transformation for enhanced image interpretation.

•             Implement image registration, surface fitting, and reconstruction techniques for accurate visualization.

Data Interpretation & Research Support

•             Analyze neuroimaging datasets to derive quantitative insights supporting R&D projects.

•             Develop pipelines for automated processing and reproducibility in imaging workflows.

•             Collaborate with neuroscience and engineering teams to integrate imaging results into research findings for publications.

Technical Expertise & Development

•             Work with machine learning and AI-based approaches for neuroimage analysis.

•             Maintain and enhance processing tools for large-scale neuroimaging datasets.

•             Ensure compliance with HIPAA and research standards when handling patient imaging data.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

•             Master’s or PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Neuroimaging, Neuroscience, or a related field.

•             5+ years of experience in neuroimaging data processing, analysis, and interpretation. Familiarity with the human connectome project (HCP) guidelines.

Technical Skills

•             Strong expertise in brain MRI, fMRI, diffusion-weighted MRI, and PET image processing.

•             Experience with neuroimaging toolkits such as SPM, FSL, FreeSurfer, ANTs, AFNI, ITK, or similar.

•             Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for image analysis and algorithm development.

•             Hands-on experience with brain image segmentation, registration, and statistical modeling.

•             Strong understanding of signal and image processing techniques used in neuroimaging.

Preferred Skills

•             Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to neuroimaging.

•             Knowledge of cloud computing for large-scale imaging datasets (AWS, Google Cloud).

•             Previous experience working in healthcare, clinical trials, or neuroscience research is a plus.
