Digital Identity Architect

Location: Woodlawn, MD

Duration: Long Term

Description of Work

Client is seeking a Web Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Windsor Mill, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of client's Health Systems Management operating unit which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. Java Developer with practical experience is required to gather and analyze user requirements, design interfaces, and conduct usability testing.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 7 years of relevant work experience; Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • Experience working directly with federal or business clients on architecting identity solutions, with experience ranging from requirements gathering to production deployments.
    • Experience working with federation/SSO protocols, with a preferred experience to include OIDC and SAML, and authorization protocols such as OAuth2.
    • Experience working in both on-premise as well as cloud-based environments.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, working both internally to drive delivery on organizational/project goals, and externally to evaluate and drive partnerships that advance program strategy
    • Strong project management skills, the ability to work both independently and with a team, and the ability to provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers
    • Demonstrating knowledge of public and private sector cyber/digital identity standards and guidelines is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • Working with source control and work item management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Jira.
    • Working independently as well as provide mentorship to junior developers
    • Participating and lead requirements analysis and contribute towards developing them effectively.
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills including the ability to help develop and deliver high-level briefings to executives and articulate ideas effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security+ certification
  • Preferred experience in the field of digital identity or cybersecurity, specifically identity proofing, authentication, federation.
  • Advanced knowledge of containerized applications
  • Advanced knowledge of code scanning tools such as SonarQube (static code analysis) and Sonatype Nexus (vulnerability scanning)
