Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and business-savvy Controls system Design Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the oil and gas field while contributing to impactful projects. The intern will support various engineering tasks, including design and analysis, with a focus on achieving business objectives.

 What You will Do:

      Conduct research and analysis to support project requirements and drive business outcomes.

      Support the controls team in the development of engineered solutions.

      Collaborate with senior engineers to solve technical problems and enhance project efficiency.

      Prepare technical documentation and reports that contribute to business decision making.

      Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic project planning.

      Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

What You Will Bring:

      Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering or a related field.

      Experience in AI Programming tools.

      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.

      Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

      Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet business deadlines.

      Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a business environment.

Pay Range: $14.00- $16.00/hr

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, TX

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs..
