Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that support Camelback Resort's brand, marketing campaigns, events, promotions, and revenue goals.
  • Create, capture, edit, and publish engaging photo, video, and written content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar that reflects seasonal priorities and resort-wide initiatives.
  • Write creative, accurate, and brand-aligned captions, stories, scripts, promotional copy, and other digital content.
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates, cultural moments, and competitive activity to identify new content opportunities.
  • Attend resort events and capture real-time content.

  • Ensure all content follows established brand standards, voice, and visual identity.
  • Monitor and respond promptly and professionally to social media direct messages, comments, mentions, tags, and guest inquiries.
  • Manage and respond to Google reviews in a timely, thoughtful, and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Escalate guest concerns to the appropriate departments and follow through to help ensure resolution.
  • Monitor online conversations and guest sentiment, identifying recurring concerns, opportunities, and emerging issues.
  • Create, edit, publish, and regularly review website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging, current, and aligned with marketing priorities.
  • Update promotional pages, event listings, attraction details, operating information, dining content, FAQs, and other guest-facing website sections.
  • Partner with resort departments to gather and verify hours, pricing, policies, and operational information before publication.
  • Track and report on social media performance, engagement, audience growth, sentiment, website content performance, and campaign results.
  • Use performance insights to recommend content improvements and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and external agency partners.
  • Maintain response guidelines and ensure the resort's tone remains helpful, positive, authentic, and consistent across digital channels.
  • Engage proactively with followers, guests, community partners, and relevant accounts to build relationships and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Apply basic search engine optimization best practices, including page titles, headings, keywords, links, and image descriptions.
  • Regularly review the website for outdated information, broken links, inconsistent messaging, and opportunities to improve the guest experience.
  • Support website launches, seasonal updates, campaign landing pages, and urgent operational messaging.
  • Support resort photography and video shoots, including planning, scheduling, shot lists, talent coordination, and asset organization.
  • Maintain an organized digital library of approved photos, videos, graphics, and content.
  • Assist with other marketing projects and duties as assigned.

Must Have Personal Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of social media analytics, Google Business Profile, SEO fundamentals, and digital reporting.
  • Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond quickly in a fast-paced, seasonally driven environment.
  • Strong judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive guest concerns or time-sensitive communications.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, one-team environment with a strong sense of personal accountability.
